This course is based on Chapters 1-2 of the Maintenance on New Equipment Designs by John Koshak (not included). The Maintenance &The Maintenance Control Plan Course counts as 3 contact hours (0.3 CEUs) towards recertification.
Approved by NAEC for CET and NAESA for QEI (maximum of 0.2 CEU for online courses per annual renewal period can be applied towards maintenance of qualifications for certified inspectors) and the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Montana, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin.

- The difference in maintenance procedures on machine-room-less elevators and legacy equipment.
- Maintenance control programs (MCPs) and what they entail.

Testing Procedures:
The exam data bank consists of questions which are all multiple choice. Thirty questions will be chosen at random and the candidate will be allowed 40 minutes to take the test.

- If you scored 80% or above, you can immediately print your certificate of completion. If you fail the exam, you will be given instructions on how to pay a re-take fee and take the
exam again.
