Author Bio

Andreas Bernard is editor of SŸddeutsche Zeitung, Germany's largest daily newspaper. He received his Ph.D. in Cultural Sciences from the Bauhaus University Weimar, and teaches cultural studies in Berlin and Lucerne, Switzerland.

Dr. Lee Gray is associate dean for the College of Architecture at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte with a specialty in architectural history. He is also curator of theelevatormuseum.org, created by ELEVATOR WORLD.
